This is billed as ‘ The Stock, Aitken, Waterman musical, and basically that is it.
It’s a story woven to include as many of the hits of this producing hit factory as possible. It tells of a bride who’s husband to be runs out on her a the alter and how she, and her friends decide to go on the honeymoon anyway.
Queue much misunderstanding, romance and many many double entendres. This is a fun, frothy, high energy night out. I must say I was lucky, based on some other reviews as the audience the night I was there was excellent, keeping their renditions of all the well known songs until the finale.
Go see it if you get chance. That being said as long as your looking for a great night out and not high art.
